What is “Forever. For Real.”?
“Forever. For Real.” helps prepare couples for successful relationships through
events and workshops. You will join with many other couples to learn skills to enhance
your relationship(s). Specifically, you will learn how to improve communication,
problem-solve and handle conflict, and keep the fun and romance alive. The presenters
will take you through an interactive curriculum called the “Prevention and Relationship
Enhancement Program (PREP).”

Is this a counseling session?
No. This is a day of relationship education and is far different from counseling.
While counseling can be very beneficial for many couples, our workshops are focused
on providing couples the opportunity to learn practical relationship skills and
information.
Relationship education is similar to learning any other skill – like learning to
play basketball. You learn the basics of the sport and practice the skills long
before you actually play a game. In the case of the skills learned in our workshop,
you will be learning how to have a happy, healthy relationship. And yes – skills
are involved!

How much does the workshop cost?
In a word…nothing. It’s free! The only investment is your time

Will I have to talk in front
the group?
No. The workshop includes interactive sessions, but no one will be required to share
anything in front of the group. “Forever. For Real.” is designed to provide you
and your partner skills that you can take home and actually put to use when needed.

Can we come if we’re not married?
Yes. Whether you’ve been married for 20 years or your relationship is new, the skills
taught during the workshop are applicable to those who are dating, will be dating,
are in a relationship, are engaged or have been married for many years.
